NEW LOCATION: We are currently training at the "Red Horse" armory at Camp Dodge, Johnston, IA. The camp is located about 10 miles from downtown Des Moines, but is easily accessed from I-80, using either the Merle Hay Road or NW 86th Street exits. In either case, after exiting I-80, go north to NW 70th Avenue (also called Highway 44). The entrance to the camp is to the west of Merle Hay Road and to the east of NW 86th Street. For a map of the area, you can go to maps.yahoo.com and search for Johnston, IA. The default map clearly shows all of the streets referenced above, as well as an outline of Camp Dodge. The guard at the gate will be able to give you directions to the armory.
